The Pride of Mumbai Award was conferred on the Mumbai Municipal Corporation by Governor Bhagat Singh Koshari in recognition of the excellent and quality healthcare facilities provided by the Corporation to Mumbaikars during the Corona period.

The India SME Excellence Award presented by SME Chamber of India and Maharashtra Industrial and Economic Development Association and the Pride of Maharashtra Award & Pride of Mumbai Award were presented by Governor Koshyari at Raj Bhavan. The Mumbai Municipal Corporation played a vital role in providing immediate and emergency medical services to control corona. Municipal Corporation took an aggressive stance against Corona from the very beginning and set up health facilities for Mumbaikars. Jumbo Centers, Oxygen Facilities, Vaccination Pendre. After successfully overcoming the first and second waves of the Corona, the third wave is now under control in Mumbai. This award was given to Mumbai Municipal Corporation in recognition of its entire work. Former Governor of Tripura Dr. D.Y. Patil and SME Chamber and President of Maharashtra Industrial and Economic Development Association Chandrakant Salunkhe were present.
